Default The Agatha Christie Hour

The Agatha Christie Hour will be released in April in case anyone is interested! It's a series of 10 hour-long adaptations of some of Christie's lesser known short stories. Most of them aren't detective stories but romance/supernatural/light-hearted adventure stories. As far as I know they've haven't been shown on TV since the 80s so I'm looking forward to seeing them!

Glad it's not just me who's interested in this! I must say they seem like an odd bunch of stories to adapt for TV - and this in the days when only one or two other Chrsite adaptations had been done. They're not mysteries and they're not (on the whole) very good stories in their own right, evn though they're fun for the most part. I can't imagine it's because they were practising with the AC formula before moving on to more well known novels and mystery stories because, as I say, they aren't mysteries.

They are being released by Fremantle Home Entertainment.
