Default Scrooge collectors edition query

Has anyone else had a problem with the 2-disc collectors edition of the Alastair Sim version of 'Scrooge' from DD Video? Mine arrived from DD the other day and I've just played it. One of the extras listed on the box, the audio commentary with George Cole, doesn't appear on the actual dvd. Tried menus on both discs and ,nope, no commentary option anywhere. I'm wondering if it's just a fault with my copy or was the commentary pulled before they could change info on the boxes? Everything else plays fine.

Tried ringing DD but it's usual problem of 'We're busy at the moment, please call later so was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem.

Cheers

Glyn

I asked DD Video to confirm if there would be a George Cole audio commentary on their DVD re-release last and and was told there would be one. When it appeared and I discovered there was NO commentary on there, I was told last December "Sorry James, there has been some confusion. We have an audio comm. but
it wasn't used in the end. A mix up in artwork has occurred. Apologies.".

James M

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Bit sloppy (and annoying!) of DD to let the DVDs go out with misleading info - it even appears in their catologue as well! Bought the DVD for my mum as it's one of her favourite films so I'll have to explain that to her. At least Cole's interview is still on there.

Yes I love this film too, I only have the 2001 U.S NTSC DVD version. Still nice with no "Lies" on the cover

Looks like they have fixed an apparent error; the commentary is on the copy I have.
