I can't ever watch the end of the film now. Having read anything I can lay my hands on, about Violette and SOE, knowing how wretched her final months were, I just have to turn it off after she's captured.

What a wimp!

There's a lot of good stuff after she's captured with the nice interrogator

And then there's that final stirring scene - which of course was nothing like her real demise - but they could hardly show that

Long time lurker and my first post.

Just like to say what a wonderful film Carve Her Name With Pride is and Virginia Mckenns is just right in the role, so understated.
