DD Entertainment
I've recently found a treasure trove of British DVD releases from this company. The releases are no-frills but seem to cover a quirky variety of vintage British fare across many genres. Last night's viewing was "And the Same to You", until now unknown to me, but with a bizarrely stellar cast (Hartnell, Rix, Tommy Cooper, Sid James, Sally Anne Field). It didn't alter my horizons, but was enjoyable for all of its 68 minutes.
I've seen a few others, including a few classics for the first time such as Millions Like Us. Is DD Entertainment completely left-field in its releases or or there a link? Most seem obscure if fascinating. They seem to be mostly mail order only. What else could anyone recommend from their catalogue? I have most of their 60s horror output and a few assorted 40s/50s to try.
