Default Mumsy and Goodbye Gemini

Both listed as pre-order on HMV through the Redemption label. (tho Play list neither)

I'm slightly wary as Orchard End Murder has been 'coming soon' from Redemption since last year.

I remember seeing them on a double bill in the Odeon 3 in Glasgow. Weird evening. Will be worth checking to hear The Peddlers singing "Tell The World We're Not In" which annoyingly is not on their CBS complete recordings set.

When I saw it the b-movie had the full title "Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny And Girly" but I think it was later shortened to just "Girly" - and that title is on the Peddlers CD.
I also recall what I thought was one flaw in the plot. Martin Potter asked Judy Geeson if she had any shillings for the meter and she said "Yes I've got some" and went into her pockets. Anyone who ever had a coin operated gas meter will know - you NEVER had single shilling pieces for a meter when you needed them!

It's on the film soundtrack album and is one of the best tracks. I wondered who was singing it so thanks for that - the problem with iPods is that once imported, the cd tends to be filed away somewhere unreachable.

I'm really looking forward to this release. I've got the usual grainy copy but a nice clear copy will be very welcome. As would some input from those of the actors that are still with us. But I won't hold my breath for that...

Come along Horace, wave to the Turnips. You might get into Parliament...'
