name='longford']Hello
My father, now aged mid 80s, was the young radio officer (his profession since 1936) - filmed during leave in 1942 at Pinewood. Most were serving men and dad went back to the Atlantic Convoys shortly after.
Worth looking at the Imperial War Musium archive - (Cut and paste to your browser)

Also, see Pat Jackson's (D) Autobiography, 'Western Approaches, published in 2002 I think.

hello Mark
I know this posting is a while back ( ! ) but I hope that you pick this up. My father- Bill Hartley, was Captain of Rescue Ship,'Goodwin' from feb '44 to end of hostilities. One of his Radio Officers was H? Wadham. If your father is still around, would he remenber him? Wadham was in the film with your father.We have a painting at home which proves that Wadham was also a very talented artist. I would love to hear your father's memories if that is possible. regards Bren Shackleton
