Default Night of the Demon region 2 DVD release with extras
My hopes were raised when I read on the Play.com website that "Night of the Demon" was due for imminent release on DVD...but on closer reading it was a 1980 US film about "bigfoot" not the classic Dana Andrews 1957 version.
I have it on tape but has this brilliant thriller ever been released on DVD?

Yep, I got a Jap import. It contains both edits (Night and Curse).

Great film.

Got mine the same way. It has both "Night" and "Curse." It's been digitally remastered in widescreen and with Dolby sound. It's excellent.

I got a version on DVD on ebay, no extras but quite watchable, watched it again this morning as it happens. Can anyone tell me the make and model of the convertible Peggy Cummins drives in the film by any chance?

Agreed! Much as I like him in Laura and one or two other Hollywood films, he seems completely out of place here. Sadly it's often the case with US actors 'slumming it' in British films.
