    I was going to buy DVD of "A Matter Of Life And Death", cheap as chips on Amazon (around £6), when I spotted that it was included in this collection so I've ordered that instead. Seems pretty good reduced to £17 from £29 with 8 discs in the box.

    You probably don't want me to tell you that the HMV boxed set of 9 Powell & Pressburger films (including AMOLAD) has been sighted for as little as £14.99. It might fall even lower now that there's another boxed set of 11 P&P DVDs.

    Hi Steve - yes saw it, but it would have to include Small Back Room to attract my hard-earned! The set I've ordered has a good mix of Brit classics from Brief Encounter to Genevieve. I have some of them but only on old tape copies.

    That's all right then. I bought the Rank set mainly for Henry V - and of course it's yet another copy of AMOLAD. You can never have too many copies of that masterpiece :
