The Magic Box is a lovely film but am I correct in thinking Olivier only appears in the last scene, he plays a policeman shown the "moving picture" by Freese-Greene (Donat)

Hardly a Olivier film (if Ive remembered correctly that is)

And he's only in less than 1/3 of 49th Parallel, doing his dodgy French-Canadian trapper accent

Let's be honest none of these box sets are a fair representation of the artiste concerned. However, they do afford a legitimate DVD release of some interesting films. I await the Maxwell Reed Screen Icon Box Set with baited breath!
Incidently, what is baited breath?

Start every day with a smile and get it over with.

I don't need to wait, I have my own Maxwell Reed Screen Icon Boxed Set containing all of Max's films (except 'The Lost People', 'Flame of Araby' and 'Captain Phantom')......and I love it !!!!!!!!

Bats.

ps - it's actually bated breath, bated means 'to lessen', so to have 'bated breath' means to be in a state of heightened anxiety whereby your have less breath at your disposal than when you are relaxed. Trust me on this ... I'm a nurse!
