Thanks for the info Julian, I like the 'seedy London' type films of the 50's and early 60's, 'The Flesh is weak' is another, it's high time 'Too hot to handle' was released on R2 also, I thought I ordered the film once from a company I forget and I recieved a Jayne Mansfield sings CD!

Note: this is not a feature film, but a 45 minute 'exploitation documentary', which claims to have been filmned in the 'Soho vice dens' of 1961.....

It was denied a BBFC certifcate in 1961, so could not be shown in any UK cinemas, but presumably the film could still be shown in 'members only' cinema clubs, such as the Compton Cinema Club........

In 2009, the uncut DVD is released with Cert 15 - so there is nothing too revealing or shocking, I think - but this film is of interest to students researching changing attitudes to censorship in the 1960s.....
