Great news hope it's better than the Region 1 print.

I'm really delighted this haunting film is getting a deserved release at long last. It has turned up on Sky movie channels not long ago but the 1986 showing on Channel 4 was my first opportunity to see it. Richard Lester sure made some contrasting films in the Sixties. George C. Scott is brilliant in this.

I won't be paying £12 for it though.

Strange, very dated painting/collage on the cover. Strange because the film is so visually arresting they could have got some great shots from the actual film.

I agree, the American DVD wasn't great. They'd messed with the wonderful original colour and it was fine as it was. The extras are great though.

I noticed on the thread starter's link that there's a featurette. What are the other extras?

They've used the original artwork (as all their other Warner Bros titles) which I think is great. Original film artwork is always preferable to most modern DVD covers.
