I'm hoping some of you will post some reviews on these titles, nudge nudge.

Has anyone bought this from Play.com? This was advertised in the latest BFI brochure as 7 discs for £49.99 (still a bit steep bit reduced from £59.99) but the set I bought from Amazon was only 5 discs. The Play advert suggests it really does have The Galloping Major (and presumably Stop Press Girl) - odd choices since More's total screen time is only about 8 minutes in both of them combined. Have Play got a special deal?

I hope "North-West Frontier" gets an anamorphic (16x9) transfer this time around.

I used to like Kenneth Moore but actually he acted opposite all the top totty, Dinah S, Dana W., Kay, Muriel, Diane, Susie Y, Mrs Bogart and he was married to the stunning Angela Douglas......................I don't think I like him anymore..

.....You couldn't hear it, if they were shooting at me with howitzers!

This list doesn't include Paradise Lagoon, or at least what it was called over here. I can't believe it was made in 1957, or that Kenneth More has been gone from the scene 26 years this month.

He was one of my favorite British actors. Whatever he was in real life, I liked his take-charge attitude in film (Paradise Lagoon, Sink the Bismark, A Night to Remember--probably others), and he's definitely the sort I'd want to be in command if the airplane/ship/zepelin I was on got into trouble.

Another title of his I would like to have is the 1955 Fox CinemaScope feature "Deep Blue Sea". This was probably the first stereo feature mixed in England at Shepperton Studios.
20th Century-Fox based several films in Europe and they had the stereo mixes done at either Shepperton or MGM-Elstree.
I hope the 4-track stereo master still survives.
