    I came on line, perused the new posts and every now again I see a post with information which makes me glad I joined the forum and, due to my love of Ripping Yarns, I saw Dick Barton and my day has been made. Off now to place an order.

    I did place the order and what arrived was Dick Batman, Barton has two boy wonders and his pants are in the correct place but there are striking similarities to the 60's TV version of Batman in presentation and I would guess that the director in 1979 was influenced by the style especially as they were both in serial format.
