name='cornershop15']Sorry for the misunderstanding, dpgmel. I'm still waiting (like Diana Ross) for
Gideon's Way to go back to the £20 it was at Amazon so haven't seen John in that yet, but I thought he was outstanding in a very downbeat episode of
Man In A Suitcase.
As for Shirley, sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't - she was loveable and brilliant in
The Apartment,
Irma La Douce and
Sweet Charity, but
Terms Of Endearment was a horrible experience. I was also outraged by her crazy behaviour on Michael Aspel's chat show when she kept smacking fellow-guest Mel Smith on the back of the head. He laughed it off with "This is sexual harassment" but it turned me against her. Better to remember her when she was young (not the first that applies to). Also worth noting is that her screen debut was in Alfred Hitchcock's
The Trouble With Harry.
I thought Network were going to release these shows this month?
