I'm still waiting for mine. I ordered it ten days ago and on the item page it says that it's in stock and that it will be despatched within 72 hours. But it's said that for over a week now. I hope it arrives before the Royal Mail go on a national strike, or it will take ages to turn up.

They always send me an email when they have posted a DVD to me. I'm hoping to get such an email this week. If not, I shall phone them and ask them if they're sending it or not.

Will do, Paul. I didn't know The Tarnished Heroes was due out on DVD. I haven't seen that since I went to see it at the cinema in 1961. It was a damn good second feature, as I recall.

Thanks, Paul. I see it can take them up to three weeks to send it, so I'll wait to see if the ballot for a national strike at Royal Mail, the result of which should be known by the end of this week or early next week is in favour of a strike or not. If it is, I'll postpone sending for this until the strike is over...although it would be different if, like most amazon orders, it was sent out the next day after receiving the order.

Well, Footsteps in the Fog and Sword of Sherwood Forest (both also listed as being "in stock") were both sent to me within a day of my ordering them and I've received them now. Maybe The Red Beret isn't yet in stock after all.

If you don't get a reply, MovieMail's phone number is 0844 776 0900. I've always found them to be very helpful whenever I've phoned them.

I wonder what they mean by "in despatch." I hope it means they've already sent it out, mine as well.

Well, they haven't sent me the usual email as yet saying that my order has been posted to me, so I'll see if one arrives tomorrow (Friday).
