Looks like "Telstar" is finally coming out in PAL format on Sept 21, 2009.

The play was absolutely brilliant. Has anyone seen the film?

I didn't get to see it at the cinema unfortunately, so I'm looking forward to the DVD release.

I know - I thought I'd post it here as people are perhaps more likely to look in this section for new DVD releases.

About time too, I am really looking forward to the film. I thought that the play was brilliant too, and Con O'Neal is a wonderful actor.

I second that. I'd never heard of Con O'Neill until I saw him in this. He really gave it his all and looked absolutely drained by the time the curtain came down. I'm delighted that he was allowed to play the part in the film. Too often we see great stage performances but where the film parts are given to more marketable names.

You'll like it! Great performances and very 'British'! A lot of insane scenes too!

I am looking forward to receiving my copy of the dvd, that's assuming The Royal Mail don't hold it up by going on strike.
