Danziger Films from Pegasus

That other chap was Media Classics and he claimed some tenuous link to the rights holder of Danziger Films.



He's still out there with his own website so I doubt they're anything to do with him.

Thanks for that Batman I bought some of the DVD's from Media Classics and overall the quality was quite good. I know he quoted on the items he sold that he had some tenous link to the rights holder of Danzigier films. It'll be interesting to see what people's opinions are of these Danziger films via this new distributor.

Don't expect beautifully restored old movies from Pegasus and you won't be disapponted. Most of them seem to be transferred from very old tapes made for television use many years ago. The covers of their Western DVD's leave a lot to be desired, too. The cover for the 1959 Pat Wayne / Dennis Hopper Western The Young Land has absolutely nothing to do with the film whatsoever and seems to be from another Western entirely. In fact, the guy on the cover looks like John Travolta to me.
