The Ravelled Thread was last screened by The Children's Channel in the late 1980s. It starred a young Mark Wingett (Quadrophenia & The Bill). It is one of many excellent such series made by Southern in the 1970s which are now being released by Simply Home Entertainment.

On my copy from Amazon, on episode 2 all faces are orange, but all other episodes seem ok, not great, but ok.
