It is fairly isolated, yes. There are two farms in the same lane as well as two or three other houses in the same stretch of road. All three properties back onto the same river seen in the “car crossing bridge” shot, although the bridge is more than two miles away. It’s the sort of area where any “strange” vehicle will attract attention and get the curtains twitching, which made it all the more frustrating that I had to go there twice. The first time was just as it was getting dark and in my haste to get the job done and get to Tilford to see the bridge I forgot the picture of the roof and chimney. Fortunately, on another trip to the area three days later I was able to re-shoot all the house pictures. The shot of the bridge must have been filmed from the garden of the nearby house because I couldn’t get as far back to take my picture.
