Which island is being shown when Patrick McGoohan's #6 is being returned via jet to the Village in "Many Happy Returns"?

The location filming was carried out at Portmeirion in North Wales, so maybe around there somewhere?

Thanks Rob. I know the non-studio filming was at Portmeirion, but there is one or two shots used that is of an island and not a peninsula. Just curious.

If you are referring to the shots from the aeroplane that is searching for the Village, the quality is different and I would guess its just stock footage.

I think I saw somewhere that it was stock footage of one of the islands in The Maldives.

Its certainly ITC stock footage ,i think it also crops up in one of the Chanpions episodes.Possibly supplied by World Backgrounds.....

If you want the fun of finding them for yourselves the clues I used were:

1 - These islands usually appear with other stock footage from the Caribbean.

2 - There is a mixture of volcanic and coral reef features.

If you don't want the fun of finding them just vist the Avengerland site.
