Default Alexandra Palace?

I live not far from Alexandra Palace in North London. It's quite a striking landmark but other than being the home of the BBC back in the 30s (?) where it used to broadcast from, has it ever been used in an old British film of the 40s or later? I can't think of a film where I've seen it. If any member knows of any I'd love to see the film in question.

One film that immediatly comes to mind is quite recent, 1984 directed by Michael Radford, doubling as Victoria Square was the shell of Alexandra palace after it had been gutted by fire, it has since been rennovated of course. Im thinking another film used Alexandra Palace for a grand ball/ dinning room sequence but my brain has gone blank for the moment on the title! It might come to me soon......

The IMDb lists quite a few TV programmes of course. Amongst them are some of the Quatermass TV episodes. But it doesn't always distinguish between when Ally Pally was used as a studio and when it was used as a location.

The series "Spaced" mentions use of the park itself as a location.

Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984), the John Hurt & Richard Burton version, used the burnt out main hall of the palace for the scenes where the crowds gather in front of the big screen (Victory Square, Airstrip One)

The 1971 film A Lizard In A Woman's Skin, a Giallo film starring Florinda Bolkan, Jean Sorel, Stanley Baker, Leo Genn, Silvia Monti, George Rigaud and directed by Lucio Fulci, there is a scene which lasts about 10 minutes, from what I can recall, I haven't seen the film in quite some time, but I know the scene was shot at Alexandra Palace.
