I epxect this one has come up before, but does anyone know where Eel Marsh House is from the 1989 ITV drama? I suspect it was not located at the end of a causeway and clever editing was made to look as if it was.

A great pity this cannot be reshown on TV or released legitimately on DVD - legal reasons apparently. Certainly scary. I haven't seen the stage version, but that is also reputedly very good.
