This is keeping me awake at nights, does anyone recall Lincoln being named in this film. If so I will drive there and find this pub(hope it was not a set!!!)

Looking at the shadows sugests pub faces South-ish.

Film was "made at" British Lion Studio Shepperton ; did they use a Lincolnshire airbase ? - if so , then pub was possibly a yellowbelly's too. - I don't think it's a set !

- The kerb stones make it look more main-road-townish than country.

- Ind Coope pub 1952 - Camra should be able to identify it perhaps ? hic !

It was shot at RAF Upwood

This could be interesting - looks like a magazine with an article about the making of the film...

There will be a great deal of detail in the magazine. I've seen the article on the locations for Odette, and there was an enormous amount of effort and background information, together with the usual Then and Now photos. Highly recommended.

Just got in, I went to Upwood and the RAF base is now a decrepid place. I trawled the area but no luck, it was good fun looking though, thought I found it at one stage but alas no.

I felt that it must be somewhere near Shepperton as the scene with the broken down car was shot in Charlton Road (now Old Charlton Road) Shepperton.
