Default Milchester

The 4 B&W Agatha Christies with Margaret Rutherford are based around the village of 'Milchester'. Anyone know the name of the real village where the footage was shot?

The IMDb lists the location of her cottage in Milchester in Murder She Said (1961) as being in Elm Close, Gerrard's Cross, Bucks

For Murder at the Gallop (1963) they list Milchester High Street as being High Street, Amersham, Bucks

For Muder Most Foul (1964) they don't list any locations to do with Milchester

For Murder Ahoy (1964) they list her cottage as being in Elm Close, Gerrard's Cross again - but they also list her cottage as being at Misbourne Bridge, Village Road, Denham, Bucks

They could have done differently angled shots of the cottage using different locations. Film makers are sneaky like that

But as is often the case, there isn't just one village that was used as Milchester. It's the combination of a lot of different locations

I have seen the cottage at Denham and I tend to think that they used it in all the films but as you say they may have interspersed it with the other address.
