What locations were used in this 1957 film, especially the lake district scenes?

After doing a quick Google search, it seems that the Grizedale Hall scenes were filmed at all the actual locations, but that the hall itself has now been demolished. Also, apparently, the Codnor Park Station scenes were filmed at Gerrards Cross Station, and the Hucknall scenes were shot at RAF Northolt.

I hope this makes sense, I've not seen the film myself.
