Default Cosh Boy, 1952, street location

Anyone recognise the street Roy lived on? I think it is Pleasant Point SW18, but I'm not too sure. I think I recognise the railings at the side of the raised pavement, and the railway bridge above it.

COSH BOY was the first british "X" rated film --see other discussions elsewhere--. It was the first one that I tried to get in to see at a cinema in Coventry. The Watch Committee in Birmingham banned it as violent and a bad influence, so everywhere it played it made good money. As for the street.....I bet you someone on this great site will come up with the answer.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR...YOU MAY GET IT!

At the risk of sounding pedantic the street is called Point Pleasant and I don't think it's the street where Roy lives.
I think it looks a bit like Latchmere Road in Battersea but I'm not sure.
Also looks like Tower Bridge in the background at the start so maybe it is in Bermondsey.
Sorry not to be much help but I have at least elminated one street in London so only another few hundred thousand to go.

Roy lived in Hammersmith W6, at 40 Leamore Street. Its still there though one side of the street has since been demolished and the railway bridge has been rebuilt. Its a two minute walk from Hammersmith tube and just off King Street which is the main shopping street in the area.

Thanks. How did you find that out?
