The Picture on message 4 is the entrance to the last tunnel just before the village of La Thuille.
The tunnel has been extended, but the original bricks can still be seen, if you look over one side.
As an anecdote, the Lamboghini was pulled out of the same entrance that it went in.......if you think about it, the wall should be on the other side when it came out.
There is also scrape marks on the floor still where Fred Toms drove the Cat under the vehicles and shoved them into the valley below. Check out You tube and type in Italian Job Tours. for video of this and other film locations in and around Turin.

As for the house used by the gang as a hide out, that is the Villa De Regina, this mansion has just been renovated and is situated on the Via Villa Della regina, this road is behind, and to the left of the Church used in the film.
I organise and run tours to Italy every year to show Mini enthusiasts where their favourite film was shot.

Living in Coventry I am aware that the tunnel sequences were filmed at Finham. However, does anyone have a clue where the minis came out? If anywhere in Coventry I will go searching, any clues please??

Didnt the minis actually come out in Turin? I spoke with the person who dropped the gates down before the police car came out, i know the sewer was in coventry but i'm sure the exit was actually in italy! (I have him on DVD saying so!)

The entry to & exit rom the tunnel was shot in Turin on the River Po (Peter Collinson is the man who drops the gate as they exit) but the interior shots were filmed at Stoke Aldermoor near Coventry. If you're plannig on taking some shots Steve be warned - it's now a sewer!

That's a long tunnel if it goes all the way from Coventry to Turin
