Two Ronnies At The Seaside Location.. - Britmovie

A Stickler that I am for locations I wonder if anyone can answer this little Question!!

As Many Comedy fans will be aware the Two Ronnies made 2 silent comedies in the late 70s called "The Seaside" and "The Picnic".

Made in the style of Naughty Seaside Postcards and the like there are some great locations shot on a pier and also in and around the Mystery Town....

Anyone who is familiar with these films can they let me know the locations that were used.

One other question....I wonder why this classic Comedy is not availible on DVD yet...?

All the town, pier and railway station scenes were shot in Swanage – Dorset. The beach and sand dune scenes were probably Studland Bay slightly to the east of Swanage, and the miniature railway and boating lake were in Poole Park – Poole.
There is a mention of “By The Sea” and the miniature railway here:
