Hello John,

I have just watched the excellent Strangler's Web directed by your good self.

I was intrigued by the amazing house that Griffith Jones' character lived in.

Do you remember where it was, who really lived in it and anything about it's history?

I am sorry but I have no recollection of the house you speak of. I hope that watching the film was not too painful.

Hi John

The film is superb, I really enjoyed it ..... especially the scenes with John Stratton in the speeding car and going to a 'disco'.

The house was a huge dark looking building .... there was a scene where they had tea in the garden. It appeared as if the interiors were filmed on location, but of course it may have been a different house. The interior had a large central staircase and rooms filled with leather chairs and paintings.
