Default The Invisibles Location

It's quite a good series The Invisibles, with Anthony Head, Warren Clarke and the mature but still very attractive Jenny Agutter.

It is filmed in a weird looking location, very strange indeed. To me it looks like a cross between a loch side village and a forgotten Welsh seaside resort. Does anyone know where it's set? Somewhere in The Lakes possibly?

It was filmed in Portaferry and Dublin - though I've not been able to identify which scenes might have been Dublin.

The golf club scenes were filmed at Ballywalter Park.

Had it been the Lakes, I'd have been camped out there for the duration!

It is meant to be Devon though.

I'm surpised you haven't volunteered to be Anthony Head's stunt double for the bedroom scenes with Barbara! (She's wearing PVC next episode)!

You would have thought they might have found somewhere like Howard's Way location. all looks a bit run down.

Anthony Head is very wooden in it, he always strikes me as a male model desparate to act, and fails. Anthony Valentine would have been far better cast. Disappointing series, seemed like a good idea that doesn't really come off.

Anyone read The STAGE comments on it? Phew! I'm not quoting precisely, but Wooden acting, Warren Clarke mis-cast, just not funny and contrived. Blimey! Glad it's not one of mine.
