Default Day of the Jackal (Original w/ Edward Fox)

This is my favorite all time movie and this is my first post. I have visited most of the locations in this movie that I could find, but one I am interested in and could not find, is the house where Edward Fox murders the woman he met at the Bastide de Tour Tour. Does anyone know the location?

Mmm, a challenge this one, Mr sjwalko and welcome to this forum. You probably know that immediately after the Jackal's murder of Mme Seyrig he leaves her home and drives to a railway station, Tulle, which is far from the Riviera locations, nearly halfway up France towards Paris. I can't imagine that Zinnemann would have gone all the way to Tulle simply to shoot at the railway station so my guess is that house you ask about is near Tulle, as was the scene of the car crash and other bits and pieces. It looks like a fairly substantial chateau, with an ornate garden, so it's possibly a public building or at least open to the public.

The film crew was based around Paris for much of the time and the Hotel where the Jackal meets with Delphine Seyring is supposed to be near Grasse but is actually a dillapidated Chateau near Paris. Adrian Turner I think is on the right track, pardon the pun, in saying that the locations would logically be near each other and near the station of Tulle.
