Default New Avengers - Country Pub
Here is a more rural location - any ideas?









There is a narrow road joining the main road just in front of the pub.

Just a thought..is it a pub?

I see a domestic garden, walled, with a few tables in it. There is a signpost with a suspicious mound of earth appearing to support the "feet" of a maybe a prop sign.
If I were a cameraman (and I am) I would have framed to include the pub as well...so why didn't they?

My argument would be that the New Avengers didn't really go in for a lot of set dressing - finding the tables and chairs would have been just too much effort. I'd be 90% sure it's a real pub.

I think you are right...why build a set when there are pubs all around...just seems a lovely domestic garden that wouldn't last 2 days these days!

Looks like one of those Umbrella's has just found it's way out onto the Pavement too me!

Was New Avengers filmed at Elstree ?, or some other Studio, if it's Elstree in all probability it will be a McMullens owned Pub in Hertfordshire......

No, it was filmed at Pinewood although they did venture into Hertfordshire at times.

Aylesbury

Stoke Poges

Iver Heath

I've done a sweep of the pubs around Burnham Beeches without success.
