No, nit been down there for a while - I meant to say that the architect in question was Nicholas Hawksmoor, so if anyone is an Alan Moore/From Hell fan, it's also worth a visit...

It was a mock-up sadly, on wasteland backing on to the Thames.

I'm pretty sure Mrs Shand almost meets her maker at St George-in-the-East Church on Cannon Street Road/ The Highway but other sites say St Patricks on Dundee Street, Wapping.

They used the interior at St Patrick’s Church, Green Bank, Wapping, London.

The exterior was as you say probably St George-in-the-East Church as the steps the guy walks down are not the same as those at St Patrick’s (shorter steps )

There's a lot of dignity in that, isn't there? Going out like a raspberry ripple.
