It's quite exciting to unexpectedly find a location film crew on your door step!
just took the dogs for a walk in one of our regular spots, in the wyre forest only to find "grillo's" film caterers vans, cranes, tons of gear, lighting ,generators etc,but not a soul in sight to ask, whats being filmed?

Cue air raid siren's and explosions on the other side of the forest,we decided to leave driving back we found, true to form the crew, were billeted at the pub !
being nosy i gave the visitors centre a call to see what was being filmed,a women said it was an adult film,"not porn !",but there are a lot of sex scenes, she coundn't remember the actresses name "a bit like julia roberts she said ? and the cold weather was commented on.

Just to say i'll be up there later with me night vision goggles on, and me telescope,
if it turns out to be anything of interest i shall report futher.

cheers Ollie.

i found this link on her website, and a film called "Straightheads" is in production at the mo' this could be the one, being filmed up the road from me.

From Screen International:-

UK-based production and sales company Lumina Films is launching its thriller label Panic Attack with Dan Reed's Straightheads, starring Gillian Anderson, Danny Dyer and Anthony Calf.

Damian Jones (The History Boys, Millions) and Kevin Loader (The History Boys, Enduring Love) are producing. The film is funded by FilmFour, the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund (which has invested £590,000), Screen West Midlands and UK distributor Verve Pictures. Verve will release theatrically in the UK.

The thriller is about a couple seek revenge after a brutal and unprovoked attack. Reed makes his feature film debut as a writer and director; he previously directed documentaries Terror In Moscow and The Valley.

"Straightheads epitomises the kind of thrillers Panic Attack will be bringing to the market: smart, surprising and reasonably-budgeted from some exciting new talent," Lumina head of sales Samantha Horley said. "And in Dan Reed one would be hard pressed to find a more impressive first time director, which is why Film Four, The Film Council and Verve have put such huge faith in him financially. It's a new direction for Lumina, but these are the kind of films I love and, far more importantly, which can reap rewards, I was lucky enough to sell Memento which set the benchmark."

Lumina is part of Monaco-based media company IFC (International Film Collective Limited). Lumina also has two other specialty labels: Buena Onda for Latin American films and Dygra for animation.
