Default For Better, For Worse (1954)

Can anybody identify the the location of the rather grand ABC cinema (probably in Greater London) that Dirk Bogarde and Susan Stephen leave at the beginning of this movie? I don't suppose the cinema is still standing !

In the cinema we see them watching a musical, with the singing voices of Edmund Hockridge
and (?) Alma Cogan Was this from an actual film ? If so, which one?

Just curious......

When they come out, there's a road sign pointing to Shepherd's Bush ; can't recall the road number offhand.

The film they're watching is billed outside the ABC as FOR RICHER FOR POORER...

The IMDb doesn't list any film that Edmund Hockridge and Alma Cogan were both in...
apart from listing them for For Better, for Worse (1954) with Edmund as "The Singer" and Alma as an uncredited voice.
