It's mentioned in the "Locations tour" on that site. It's on the North East Coast in a small pit village called Blackhall Rocks (between Seaham & Hartlepool). The Ariel Flight carrying the waste has long gone but there were a few small signs of it when they visited so they've got a few "Then & Now" comparisons

Good site.
Looking at how the old terraces had been cleared on the right hand picture made me think of Bob & Terry, but then I saw the 'Likely Lads' are on your site too.
I'll get you a Bottle of Dog.

Talking Blackhall Rocks/Get Carter

Have just returned from Blackhall Rocks and i think i found the exact spot where Jack Carter got shot. The ariel flight coal tipper is long gone but the beach and landscape are much the same .All very atmospheric with the Get Carter theme playing in my head and the sound of the crashing waves.Well worth a visit..don,t forget the whisky bottle though....
