Lucky Jim Location - Britmovie

I am trying to find the ford used in the 1957 Boulting Brothers' 1957 film
"Lucky Jim": maybe you know it. As there are several houses seen aback of
this ford I assume it to be in either a village or small town. The film was
made at Borehamwood and other locations in the 'ford' sequence include
Uxbridge and Bushey. Rickmansworth is also featured in the vehicular chase,
which passes through the ford, but only in back projection - thus the
general search area should be south Hertfordshire. I have checked several
fords here ,to no avail. Some have since been bridged so the one I seek may not exist as such any longer.
