Exellent site mate, I have a mate who was a mod and a rocker in the film. Is name is Kevin Lawton from Bolton, he rides the green scooter in the ride to brighton (when they all stop to look ) but he also played the rocker in the police van when sting gets chucked in the van. Im sure he has some stories to tell.

All the info is in the book.
There ios a cd rom that accompanies the book and details the Brighton locations.

this advert has recently appeared in a motor scooter mag i buy . not only do they have props from quadrophenia ,littledean jail ,where the collection is housed ,is the jail used for the exterior shots in house of whipcord

Default Jimmy's House
Just to let you know that Jimmy's house is on Wells House Road, NW10 - I know because I live on the street. And I'm a Ton-Up Boy and I rule the manor now - ha ha!

I don't know the exact door number but I think it is on the southern side (below the "RD" of WELLS HOUSE RD on the map below) as when you see down his alleyway there aren't any buildings and this is the only part of the street without buildings behind, and a railway track.

I don't think it is number 22 (just above the "U" in HOUSE) as this has always had the railway depot (and the London skyline) behind it.

Here's an birds' eye view of the row (lit up brightest, left to right along the bottom) that I think the house is in, with the green behind it (below it on the map) which is visible in the film:

I don't have the special edition DVD yet (just an old dusty VHS somewhere) so if someone can email me some decent screengrabs of the external shots of the house, and the road, then I will work out which one it is and take some snaps of it now for you all.
