Default Great Day

Does anyone know where the extensive opening travelling shot for this film was photographed?

It's mainly shot in the studio. I'll have to have another look and see if they did get out of the studio at all

It's the scene under the credits with someone (Marjorie Rhodes? Marie O'Neill?) riding a bike passed a lovely church into a wide village street.

As so much of the rest of it is a studio based re-creation of A Canterbury Tale (Eric Portman as the respectable man with a secret, Sheila Sim as the Land Girl), I wonder if they had the cheek to use a village near Canterbury?

I often use Great Day and A Canterbury Tale as objects of comparison, mainly to point out the advantage of good use of exteriors.
