I don't like dull lifeless concrete. I live in London, but the SW corner of it, right on the edge of it. So we have lots of big open spaces, commons, parks & gardens, all around us. It means that I can get into London quickly when I need to (as I do sometimes) but I can also get out to the countryside easily when I need to do that.

And as for making films near where I live - they do, and have done for a long time. I'm in Morden, near Wimbledon where I believe they play a bit of tennis sometimes. That's where Sun Hill is located and they film a lot of The Bill in our area. It is also where Merton Park Studios were located. They specialised in things like the Edgar Wallace series and other British thrillers, many of them involving police and other car chases.
