Default Film locations

Is there area in your region that you think would have been great to make a film there. I know lots here in Ireland that would have been great locations for film. Armagh is a great locations it has ruins old prison not in use and many streets that are from the Georgion period.

Nearby Hawkstone, said to be home to one of the Holy Grails and features caves and follies. On the weekend it used to be overun with White Witches and various other fruits having a good orgy.

Looks a bit foggy to me

I'm rather surprised that little use has been made of Durham.

One of the strangest places I know is a rectory about half-a-mile away that was a WWII Y-Station connected to Bletchley Park, even now people who live in the town dont know of its existence because it's surrounded by trees. We used to play there as kids and it scared the hell out of me - was like the mansion of an Old Dark House chiller.

Have you ever seen the locally produced video Shropshire at War which was narrated and presented by the late Sir Julian Critchley? That features another slightly sinister country house that was used for training SOE personnel. I haven't been able to trace the location but it's got to be somewhere south of Clee Hill.

South of Clee Hill would probably take you to the old (I think they've moved) SAS base at Hereford? Fairly sure the SOE trained there during WWII.

Not seen the docu, I'll have a word with a friend.
