Greeting fellow Britmovians! I hope someone might be able to help me in my quest for this title:

    Paul Temple's Triumph (1950)

As I'm watching the Temple's in order I'd like to view this one before the fourth and final film outing. Plenty of telly and film for trade, drop me a PM if interested. Many thanks :)

I was informed that this film is finally coming to DVD. There were only 4 made, so this will complete the collection !

    Hi.
For some time the film has been floating around on DVD but in a slightly truncated form and from a vintage 9.5mm old optical sound film print issued by Pathescope. The home transfer of it was very poor although nice to get to see the film, what would be nice is to finally get an official issue out on DVD to complete the set as it were so I am with you Philip.

I am sure that the late John Bentley's wife Patsy will be thrilled to hear that Renown are issuing this film. What about his Toff series? We must get Renown to issue these.

Yeah I have been after HAMMER THE TOFF/ SALUTE THE TOFF for years. I asked Renown about RELUCTANT HEROES/ WORMS EYE VIEW but they didnt comment on those 2, Iam sure they told me over a year ago that PAUL TEMPLES TRIUMPH was coming out then, but nothing happened, but I believe they will probably get this out eventually. Ah ! wait it was when PAUL TEMPLE RETURNS came out last year that I asked about TRIUMPH and they said it would be coming out next year which is now, apologies for the confusion !

MoviemailUK is showing The Paul Temple collection being released on Nov 28th, all four films are included but I'm hoping Paul Temple's Triumph will be released individually as well after already buying the others.

Bought the set and watched Paul Temple's Triumph. Picture quality not as good as the others but it does include Peter Butterworth's scene which was missing from the bootleg going around.

Does anyone know when, and if, this is going to released separately. Like many others, I guess, I have already bought the first three.

I resisted moaning about having to buy the boxed set to get hold of PT Triumph and instead dropped good old Renown a note groaning instead. So many of us purchased the other three films separately it was a bit much only offering the final movie in a boxed set wouldn’t you say and this clever bit of modern marketing did rather backfire perhaps. Thankfully Renown have seen the light and the final movie will be on offer separately albeit only to registered Renown customers which takes them about half way to putting matters right but does leave a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth. Lets hope we don’t see this sort of practice again from a DVD distributor so many of us have come to love and support as I fear they may well loose a few loyal customers which are hard to come by in this day and age.
