Have been hoping this might turn up on TCM or Film Four eventually as it hasn't been on terrestrial tv since I can remember. Having just got hold of a copy of Peter Nicholl's brilliant A Day in the Death of Joe Egg it would be great to see this again also. There is only an old VHS copy on Amazon for £35!

Interestingly US folks can watch it on Amazon.

Seems to be owned by Sony over there.
I saw this film, with a friend I worked and lived with, at a matinee on an afternoon off of work.
All through the film, we kept wondering where we'd seen the black vicar before and we were still talking about it after we got home: Was it a film? Was it a TV programme?
When we walked into the switchroom where we worked the following morning, I told her to look across to the other side of the room - and George Browne was sitting quietly working away!

Warner released DVD in US in April 2011. According to Warner shop it's an unrestored full frame 4:3 version, according to Amazon US it's All Region (they will confirm this if you email them).
