Default The Toff

Does know if the films about John Creasey's character 'The Toff' are available anywhere?

The titles are .... Hammer The Toff and Salute The Toff (both1952).

Thanks.

Bats.

I saw one of those movies in the early 70s. I read all the "Toff" books, so I'd be interested in the answer to Batman's post.

Radio 7 are repeating The Toff and the Runaway Bride from Tuesday, 9 October. The 1975 serial starred Terence Alexander as the Hon Richard Rollison aka 'The Toff', and Robert Dorning as her butler, Jolly.

Start every day with a smile and get it over with.

I listened to The Toff and The Runaway Bride on Radio 7 and very good it was too with Terence Alexander as The Toff. Also in the cast were Allan Cuthbertson and Robert Dorning. This was followed by 6 episodes of The Toff on the Farm.

Pity there's no sign of the films!!

I managed to listen to some of the episodes, very good I thought. I have been trying hard but still no luck on the film front.
