I've purchased a number of Hammer non-horror films (although not The Snorkel) from them and they seem to be a very reliable seller.

Default The Snorkel (1958)

I have just come across this web page which appears to purport that it is possible to download this film, albeit with Crotian sub-titles!

Maybe some of you tech boys can understand the contents. I would certainly be interested to know if I have interpreted the availability of this rare film correctly.

Subtitles Snorkel, The (1958) - Subtitles Croatian 1CD - Download DivX subtitles and DVD subtitles for every DVD or DivX movie!

Rennie, I think it is an offer to download the Croation subtitles alone. I guess it means at least one person has a copy of the film in Croatia.

I think it's just the subtitles not the film. A few members, myself included, have a reasonable copy of the film and could help you out.

Default The Snorkel

Is this the film where 'the bad guy' ends up being trapped under the floorboards when some furniture is moved. Is there also a scene where a body is floating around in the depths of the garden pond?
Excuse my rambling but these scenes ring some sort of bell.

Hi all,

I am looking for a copy of the European version of "The Snorkel " ( which I believe is circa. 15 minutes longer than the U S version ).

If anyone can help would be very grateful if they'd get in touch.

The first scene you described is "The Snorkel".
The second scene is from the 1961 Hammer Film "Taste of Fear", which is coming out on DVD US Region 1 this October.
They are both Sony / Columbia owned titles. Sony is finally coming around to releasing these obscure classic Hammer Films.
"The Snorkel" has not yet been scheduled but hopefully that will change in the next couple of years.

The Snorkel is available in a decent print from ZDD Visual Media for UK5.95.
There are a lot of other obscure films available there.
