Default Badgers Green (1949)
This is a longshot - I have never seen this film on TV or commecially available, but.....

At school, I read the play on which it is based (by R C Sherriff, author of Journey's End, the famous play about the WW1 trenches, and author of many other screenplays)

Badger's Green (1949)

I would love to see the film - does anyone have it or have access to it? Please note that there is another version, dated 1934 (and which starred Valerie Hobson) - that would be even more of a longshot, but would be equally fascinating to see. A TV production was made in 1938.

Yes would be fab. The BFI has a copy, but that's it I think.
