Default Fiend Without a Face (1958)

Having a devil of a time trying to trace a copy of just the movie. Criterion are doing one of their Collection of this with a lot of 'cool' extras, but does anyone have just the movie? Will pay of course, just not the £30 plus that Criterion are asking! Thanks in anticipation

Here's a nice cheap Aussie edition via ebay ....

FIEND WITHOUT A FACE Marshall Thompson CLASSIC SCI-FI on eBay, also Other Sci-Fi DVDs, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, DVDs, Movies (end time 05-Mar-08 13:42:39 GMT)

It's an Umbrella Entertainment dvd so the quality will be very good.

The UK edition has been deleted and is now going for around £20 second hand.

this is one of my regular favourite films - great entertainment and cleaver too.
I did mention this before but the attractive Kim Parker was a dancer in the strange
and very poor film Fire Maidens from Outer Space with no fire and should have been called 'In Outer Space' for they did not leave the planet that looked like Surrey!
All shot at one large house in Surrey with a Super8 camera
She wisely danced in the background with good reason I suspect.

'You should be kind to us normals, there are not many of us left you know'!

Kim Parker was married to Canadian singer and actor Paul Carpenter. FIEND is probably her most memorable role.....

Bill, I think a friend of mine has the OOP 2 Entertain DVD. If you can wait a while I can pick it up and run you off a copy.

I remember it was quite strange to see Marshall Thompson in this movie after he'd become something of a childhood hero of mine, as Daktari.

The leaping brains with tails were most excellent.

Isn't this where the film ALIEN got the idea for the facehugger?

That would be against forum rules.

It's OOP of print and deleted. Have you got a link for the rules so I can read them?

The rule is that you should not be ...

"Requesting commercial or non-UK titles."

Although your edition is deleted, the title is still available commercially, therefore you shouldn't be offering dvd-r copies via the open forum.

Check the "Why have I been moderated ?" bit at the bottom of the page ...

Thanks, Batsy. I will be more subtle in future and PM people if they're having trouble finding anything.
