Hello All,
I'm keen to find as many documantaries as I can from the periods 1930s/40s/50s/60s. BTF, GPO, Ministry of Information, Public Information, trade tests, Crown Film Unit etc.etc. In fact ANY documentary. I have a lot to trade or happy to pay. Anyone interested in this type of short film check the BFI site for a four DVD set, The Promised Land.

Try Historical and Nostalgic Documentary Films, UK - Panamint Cinema which is a great source of such material

Air Crash Investigation And Escape (DD Home Ent.) (DVD). Might be of interest the bulk of the disk is a documentary made by the RAE Film Unit on the Comet air crashes and how the RAE solved the mystery. The rest of the disk is taken with other official shorts of a similar nature.
