I'm glad the tumbleweeds blew by on this... I may have to track down (ahem, cough, splutter, etc) a copy to give it a viewing as it has been on my to see list for a while.
Is there a soundtrack to go with the film, or was that out of budget? I'm trying to get an angle on this as it remains a bit of a mystery, and I don't want to know too much about the content beforehand. A bit of context & background is great though, so thanks for the notes.
Incidently, has anyone ever seen the 1971 ish version of 'Bartleby', with the infectious line 'I'd really rather not' .. and more importantly, is this available on dvd? That had a cracking score, a sort of meld of Blow Up and The Knack daddio jazz, flutey meadow lark noodlins with a cappuccino frothy top! Now that would be a good soundtrack to own. I'll have to get searching for that.
I'm sure there's also a Blossom Deary song in it.
Maybe I should post this in the music section.
