Default Suddenly It's Jazz.
Hello All,
A friend of mine is looking for this film. I don't know much about it I'm afraid. Could possibly bs a 'short', probably made in the late 1950s or 1960s.
It features Dick Charlesworth and His City Gents. Sadly Dick Charlesworth died a couple of weeks ago and this film (if found) will be shown to friends and family.

There is scope here for an entrprising DVD company (Optimum?) to issue a DVD collection of British jazz shorts made between 1955 and 1965 - there are at leat six titles they could include......inc 'Suddenly It's Jazz', Four Hits and a Mister (Acker Bilk), Living Jazz (BFI), Bandwagon (Cy Laurie), Holiday (Chris Barber), Ted Heath/ Tony Kinsey shorts from 1960 ....

SUDDENLY, IT'S JAZZ was a 15 minute short featuring Dick Charlesworth and His City Gents. released by BRITISH LION in 1963. If a print survives, it is probably held in the vaults of Canal Plus UK....

LOOK AT LIFE (Rank) also did a 10 min short on Jazz, as well
